CPECU serves the employees and family members of the Cleveland Post Office, Cuyahoga County employees, and employees of the other groups listed below.

We welcome our members to enjoy a lifetime of financial services! When you join the Credit Union, we encourage you to use our services for the rest of your life, even if you retire or
relocate. No matter where you are on life's journey, CPECU can handle your financial needs.
Financially Strong
Credit union policies are set by the Board of Directors who are volunteers elected by and from our membership. We are audited by the State of Ohio and our insurer on a regular basis and are proud to have consistently received high ratings for strength and stability.
 
Who Can Join The Credit Union
  CPECU services four distinct groups. Any individual employed by the following is eligible for credit union membership:
 
U.S. Post Office (Cleveland Division)
Cuyahoga County (36 Affiliated Agencies)

CPECU Is Also A Family Affair
  Once you are a member, the following family members are also eligible:
Spouse Children and Step-Children
Legally Adopted Children Parents
Brothers and Sisters Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren
Aunts and Uncles Nieces and Nephews
Cousins Grandparents and Great-Grandparents
  Daughters-in-law and Sons-in-law Mothers-in-law and Fathers-in-law
  Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law
 
We encourage you to open accounts for your children and grandchildren.
It's a great way to help them plan for their future and start them off
in the right financial direction.
  Surviving spouses will become primary members of the credit union.
 
Retired employees of the distinct groups may become members of the credit union after retirement.
  Anyone becoming a member under the above definition of membership can remain a member for his/her lifetime, without regards for location of residence of kind of employment, provided at least one (1) share ($5.00) remains in the account.
